Bombshell News!! Brandon Barash Granted Restraining Order Against ‘General Hospital’s’ Kirsten Storms

General Hospital favorite Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) has been served a restraining order from her ex-husband and former GH and Days of our Lives actor, Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny, ex-Stefan/Jake, respectively).

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Barash is claiming that Storms had been exhibiting concerning behavior and he fears for the well-being of their daughter, Harper. A judge apparently agreed that Storm is suffering a mental health crisis, when Brandon pleaded with the courts for an emergency restraining order. In the court documents, Barash explained that following their divorce, they each moved separately to Tennessee.

Barash also noted Storms alleged, “instability with housing has been a recurring theme.” He also added, that he has “great concern (for her) ability to adequately care for the minor child” and also requested that she undergo a mental health evaluation.

Brandon and Kirsten met on the set of General Hospital and married in 2013. They later welcomed their daughter, Harper in January of 2014 and went their separate ways in 2016. Barash remarried and found love again with his current wife Isabella Devoto in 2022 and the couple are expecting their second child.

Fast-forward to 2025 and Barash and his family moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Last summer, Kirsten revealed she was taking a time off from GH to move across the country and relocate herself and her daughter. In the storyline to accommodate her departure, Maxie lapsed into a coma after applying tainted face cream on her cheeks.

Storms returned to the set of General Hospital this past January and returned on-screen on February 12. The storyline set up the possible reunion of Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie, when she learned her “late” husband (who has now been revealed as his twin, Cassius) was alive and well, but romantically into her bff, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins). However, the character of Maxie has not been seen on-screen since mid-March, and Storms is already back in Tennessee.

Recently on her Instagram, Storms has been updating her followers on how her home computer network and other devices where she was residing have been hacked and how she has been continually alerting the local police and the apartment complex in which she has been staying.

One of the items in the court documents shared that Barash alleges that from September 2024 until June of 2025, Kirsten never maintained a permanent residence, and either stayed with friends or at hotels … but frequently changed hotels because she was convinced people were “following her and the child to her room.”

According to TMZ, Storms is allowed supervised visitation with her daughter, and the judge in the case will be reviewing the “status of the restraining order” later this week.
