In a message posted over the weekend, the reality personality said the past 40 days have felt like “hell on earth,” explaining that the stress from The Bachelorette drama has taken a significant physical and emotional toll. The ABC star said she experienced constant panic attacks and felt her body was “breaking down” as she tried to cope with the situation.

Despite the strain, Taylor said she has been leaning heavily on her faith. She told followers she has seen “undeniable signs” from God that reassured her she is not alone during this time. She also suggested there are still details about her situation that have not been made public, adding that she “can’t wait to share” more when the time comes.

While she did not directly address the specifics of the domestic violence allegations tied to Mortensen, her comments come as the situation continues to unfold publicly.

The case has already had serious personal consequences. Taylor has temporarily lost custody of the couple’s 2-year-old son, Ever, following a protective order that Mortensen was granted last month.

The renewed scrutiny stems in part from a previously surfaced video from 2023, which showed Taylor throwing barstools at Mortensen during an altercation.
The incident reportedly took place in front of her daughter, Indy, and led to her arrest on assault-related charges at the time. The footage has circulated widely online, prompting a wave of backlash and discussion about the situation.

The fallout has extended beyond her personal life. In the wake of the video’s resurfacing and the surrounding controversy, ABC pulled plans involving Taylor, including canceling her anticipated appearance tied to The Bachelorette franchise-related programming.

The decision marked a significant shift in her public trajectory, as she had been building momentum in the reality TV space following her social media success.

Taylor first rose to prominence as part of the “MomTok” community on TikTok, where her candid posts about relationships, motherhood, and personal struggles gained a large following. Her earlier controversies, including a widely discussed “soft swinging” scandal within her friend group, had already placed her in the spotlight before the assault case brought further attention.

Now, as legal and custody matters continue to play out, Taylor appears to be focusing on sharing her perspective with her audience while navigating the consequences privately.
