Janelle Brown is enjoying a ‘slower’ way of life since leaving Kody Brown, but fans had thoughts about her latest Instagram post
Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is opening up about some upcoming life changes that have been a long time coming, but some fans see the irony in a new social media post.
In a new Instagram post, the reality television star shared that she was “looking forward” to some new experiences now that she’s settled into her new home near her daughter, Maddie Brown Brush. She shared all the details in the caption to a video clip.
Brown looked happy as she discussed all the new experiences she’s having since moving on to the property the family calls Taeda Farms. She and Brush are planning a flower farm on the property.
However, fans appeared to read more into her words. They immediately connected Brown’s statement to her past life as Kody Brown‘s second wife and sister wife to Meri Brown, Christine Brown Woolley, and Robyn Brown.
In the caption, the Sister Wives star began, “I finally found the cushions for my patio set this weekend, so I have everything set up on the front porch now. It’s not quite how I want it yet.”
“I still need a rug, maybe a little greenery, something to make it feel finished. But even as it is, I’ve been looking at it thinking, this is going to be a good place to sit.”
“The grandkids have started their routine of going back and forth between the houses, and I can already picture myself out there watching them play. The weather’s been really beautiful, even with a little chill coming through today,” she continued.
“There’s something about this season that feels simple in the best way. Sitting on the porch, winding down at the end of the day, letting things be a little slower. I’m looking forward to that,” the reality star concluded.
Fans immediately jumped on the porch aspect of Brown’s statement, linking it back to an iconic statement from Robyn, who famously cried that she wanted to “sit on a porch with my sister wives and our kids and grandkids” during Season 18 of Sister Wives. She expressed this sentiment while sobbing over the fracture of the family and the breakdown of Kody’s marriages to the other wives.
“Sitting on the porch. I’m trying to hold the snark!!!” wrote one Instagram follower.
“Sitting on your porch watching the grandkids play must be wonderful for you,” claimed a second follower. A third wrote, “Yes, sitting on your porch without Robyn.”
A fourth social media user penned, “The shade!! We see what you did there, girl.”
Janelle Brown is reportedly filming for Season 21 of Sister Wives. TLC has yet to announce when the new season will premiere.
