General Hospital rumors have been buzzing that Josh Swickard, who plays Harrison Chase, could be exiting the ABC soap.
With that said, neither the show nor the actor has confirmed a departure. Still, that doesn’t mean that Chase isn’t on his way out of Port Charles. Here’s what we know, so far.
Harrison Chase’s Life Is About To Be Flipped Upside Down
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Chase has crossed a lot of lines to clear Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) name in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Sadly, even though she was exonerated, his obsession to prove that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was the perpetrator has not wavered.
Chase already faced suspension because the PCPD believed he tampered with evidence, even though he didn’t.
Still, because he investigated outside the police department and made the PCPD look sloppy during his testimony at Willow’s trial, Chase was forced to take a leave.
Now, he can no longer be a detective until he proves himself. Sadly, Chase stole Michael’s keys recently and prompted Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to search the Quartermaine premise to see if Michael had Drew’s house key.
Chase knew Drew’s key was on Michael’s chain (even though he wasn’t the one who placed it there – Willow was). But Chase tested this theory on his own.
Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) saw Chase with his dad’s key, and the cop was outed in this respect during the Thursday, February 19 show.
As Chase acted so sketchily, it now looks like he planted Drew’s key on Michael’s chain. So, what happens next?
Chase’s Fate
It feels as though Chase’s world is about to be flipped upside down. He’s about to lose his job at the PCPD forever.
He may even be kicked out of the Quartermaine mansion Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) won’t allow his betrayal to go without some sort of punishment).
Still, how will Chase’s wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), feel about Chase’s recent actions?
His empathy toward Willow has rubbed BLQ the wrong way. Could he be thrown out of the Q mansion? Will this ruin his marriage? Could losing his job and his wife force him out of town?
Has GH written Chase into a corner? Will he exit and go to his brother, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in Seattle?
