‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Confirms Absence From Truely’s Life
Sister Wives star Kody Brown has officially confirmed that he is absent from his
daughter, Truely’s, life. She is the youngest daughter of Kody and Christine
Brown Woolley, born in Season 1 of the series. So, why is he so MIA? Keep
reading for more details.

Truely Brown was the thirteenth Brown child and was born in Season 1 of Sister
Wives. Fans watched as Christine Brown Woolley prepared to give birth to Truely,
while shopping with Meri and Janelle Brown. Everyone was so excited for this new
arrival, but there were a few twists. Christine had never given birth in a
hospital, so this was a big deal. Furthermore, when she was in labor, Kody Brown
was smooching Robyn Brown, whom he was engaged to at the time. As a toddler,
Truely was very ill and, as she grew up, her father did not treat her the same
as he once did.

She did not feel comfortable at the home he shared with Robyn and their five
kids. Now, it seems that he is estranged from Truely. When she moved with
Christine to Utah from Flagstaff, Kody appeared to be heartbroken over this.
That was likely a facade as he tries to trick viewers, his family, and himself
into believing he has a heart. The first two parts of the Season 19 One on One
have aired, and in them, Kody and Christine stated that they do not see each
other. That led one fan to make this observation:
Both Kody and Christine said they don’t see each other or speak. So there is
no way that they are coparenting their minor child together.
Truely is fifteen now, so she could very easily go and visit her father on her
own. Additionally, he could come to Utah and see her, but not Christine. He has
older children living in Utah who would likely help facilitate a get-together
with Truely and Kody. So, what did fellow Sister Wives fans think of this, and
did they agree he was an absentee dad?
HE’S INVOLVED
Sister Wives fans believed that Kody Brown does see Truely, but with assistance.
Christine Brown Woolley had filed for child support from Kody, and that required
a paternity test, as he was not on the birth certificate. Could that have caused
further strain on the relationship? Here is what some had to say:
You can’t coparent with a narcissist. You parallel parent. It is not uncommon
to have another party facilitate parenting time exchanges.Christine said she would try to text Kody to set up visitation but Kody would
ignore it. Eventually, she started making arrangement through Mykeilt and
Ysabel. Roping them in sucks, but there really wasn’t a choice if she wanted
Truly to see her dad.My guess is if he was a caring and loving father to her, she wouldn’t be
asking for child support.
Many did believe that his other daughters were instrumental in his seeing
Truely. However, no one will really know what is going down behind closed doors.
