The Secret Is Out Before Jordan Even Decided to Tell It

Jordan Ashford has been carrying this secret around literally in her purse for weeks now, and if today proved anything, it is that a pregnancy test is not a subtle thing to leave in a bag when Stella Henry is anywhere in the vicinity.

Stella stopped by Jordan’s place with a housewarming gift and got a surprise of her own when Curtis Ashford answered the door. Curtis moving in with Jordan is already a development Stella has opinions about. She pulled him aside and told him plainly that he was moving too fast, that his ex-wife was pregnant, and that grief needed more than a forwarding address to process itself.

Then she went looking for a pen. Found the pregnancy test instead.
