If you’re married then you’ve likely gone on an outing with your mother-in-law a time or two — or three or four or five! In some cases, these “adventures” can be grueling but in others, they are simply fun-filled times with those we love.
And the latter can be said for General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason), who recently traveled to Long Island to get a little education from his mother-in-law.
“She’s 80 years young, set in her ways and very serious when it comes to her Long Island bagels!” Burton’s wife Michelle stated while posting a video then went on to express how her hubby “was in his glory” as they shared a meal at the Long Island Bagel Café.
And if the video doesn’t get you hungry for one of the island’s bagels, which Michelle deemed as “the best” then the dialogue between Burton and his mother-in-law is sure to give you a chuckle or two.
The trip started with a car ride and a discussion over which bagel was the best until Michelle noticed something about her mom, which led Burton to state, “Listen, I don’t trust anybody with…” (You’ll have to listen for yourself to hear what that was all about.)
Then they headed into the bagel shop and it wasn’t long before he asked his mother-in-law, “Why are you looking at me like that?” After he leaned over laughing, they decided on which style bagel Burton should order then the three sat down and, well… yum! The conversation over the delicious treats was comical — and cute — and when they finished up and left, Burton turned to his mother-in-law and jokingly warned, “Next time I’m going to order my own.”
We’re happy to see Burton living his best life while taking a break from the ABC soap and we look forward to seeing more of his adventures while he spends time with those he loves.
