Here’s what the actor said about it.
Chris McKenna reveals he has shot scenes with a new General Hospital character
General Hospital’s Chris McKenna recently uploaded a video on Instagram, where he revealed that he has filmed a scene with a brand new character.
Talking about a recent scene he filmed, the actor said that it took place in the WSB office. He added that the scenes “were mostly with one legacy character.
Not Carly, who I’ve had some scenes with before, you know—but not a lot. And scenes with a new character, whom you guys don’t know yet. Who I believe will be introduced to you soon. It’s very exciting.”
While the actor didn’t reveal the name of the character or the actor playing it, we can still speculate what it can be about.
His character, Jack, is currently involved in one of the main plotlines that the show is following. Ever since Valentin Cassidine returned to Port Charles, Jack has been determined to hunt down the fugitive.
Considering that the actor said that it was shot in the WSB office, maybe this character is involved in helping hunt down Valentin? On the other hand, Carly is secretly working with Valentin to bring down Jack.
Perhaps this new character is involved in her scheme?
Earlier this year, lead writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten hinted at where Valentin’s storyline is heading.
They said, “Carly means to bury Brennan for luring Josslyn [Jacks, Eden McCoy] into a life of service to the WSB — even if that means getting in deeper with Valentin.
Valentin’s bond with Charlotte [Cassadine, Bluesy Burke] may be the death of him,” (via TV Insider).
To see who the new character is, keep tuning into General Hospital on ABC.
