General Hospital The Rinse April 23: Ethan’s Ready to Take Care of Sidwell
Not everyone in Port Charles is happy to see Ethan.
Ethan finally came face-to-face with the man who tried to kill his mother and brother on the April 23, 2026 episode of General Hospital, and it may have been a clue as to why he’s determined to work for Sonny.
Ethan vs. Sidwell
When Tracy (Jane Elliot) arrived at the Metro Court for lunch with Lulu (Alexa Havins), she was happily surprised to find out it was actually Ethan (Nathan Dean) who invited her. The two shared their grief over Luke’s (the late Anthony Geary) passing, and that was when Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ava (Maura West) walked in.
Sidwell and Ava both agreed the man with Tracy looked familiar, and Sidwell admitted he knew exactly who he was and decided to send drinks over to their table. When Ethan and Tracy received the drinks, Ethan revealed he knew who and what kind of man Sidwell was.
Ethan confronted Sidwell alongside Tracy, and the two men swapped subtle threats. And when Tracy begged Ethan not to risk his life taking down Sidwell, he assured her he could make no promises, much like his father always did.
While GH fans have theorized that Ethan could be secretly working with Sidwell to infiltrate Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) organization, their rough exchange suggests Ethan could want to work for Sonny so he has the connections he needs to take down the man who attempted to kill Holly (Emma Samms) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson).
