‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Rocco Tends to Be a Magnet for Trouble

Rocco tends to be a magnet for trouble, but this time, it’s the type of trouble that could potentially ruin his life. Rocco made the split- second decision to shoot the villainous WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

He saved Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) lives. Rocco suspiciously followed Britt to the pier.

The teen watched Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) deliver Britt her Huntington’s medicine after Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) made a major sacrifice and retrieved Britt’s life-sustaining drugs from Wyndemere.

Sadly, Marco’s redemption cost him his life. Cullum went directly to Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) and stabbed him repeatedly, ultimately killing him.

However, two other lives were on the line on the pier as Cullum had knocked Britt out unconscious and was about to strike a fatal blow to Jason after the two men engaged in a scuffle.

Rocco quickly picked up the gun that was on the ground and shot Cullum in the back to stop him from killing Jason and, most likely, also Britt.

Now, Jason is taking the rap for Rocco, and Rocco is understandably traumatized for life. Despite the fact that Cullum admittedly deserved a violent, fatal ending, Rocco still knows he may have taken a life.

Plus, now that Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) father, Jason, is being sent to prison, if Danny finds out that Rocco is the one who shot Cullum and let Jason take the blame, the boys could be pitted against each other.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Finn Carr Showcased Rocco’s Terror and Trauma Beautifully

Finn Carr, who is a true star, deserves some major recognition for his outstanding performance as a young kid who just pulled the trigger on a man.

Carr showcased Rocco’s terror and trauma very beautifully in the scenes that followed after Nathan West (Ryan Paevy) arrived on the scene and returned Rocco home to his mom, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning).

We watched Carr portray Rocco trying to process the gravity of the situation, all while displaying his mix of guilt, fear, and shock.

Carr has showcased a wide range of emotions that made us feel for the poor kid. When Rocco came home and raced into his mother’s arms, it was a genuinely heartfelt moment.

Rocco was a very frightened young man who immediately sought solace in his mother’s warm embrace. Rocco breaking down in Lulu’s arms today was equally as heartbreaking.

A fan insisted on social media that the Daytime Emmy Awards should bring back its younger actor category, as Carr perfectly fits the bill. However, he could also be a shoo-in for the Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama category.

Carr was also superb in the storyline in which Rocco, Danny, and Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner) broke into Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) office to try to rescue the dogs that were being experimented on.

One thing is for sure: with the current story heating up and Rocco caught up in a situation that, once again, isn’t his fault, Carr’s upcoming performances are likely to be even more intense.

As a gifted young actor with a talent well beyond his years, Carr has demonstrated that he’s a tour de force.
