Heartbreaking Update! Famous General Hospital star actress found dead at four in the morning in an open field
Actress Robyn Bernard, who appeared in 145 episodes of the soap opera General Hospital in the 1980s, was found dead in a field behind a business in San Jacinto, California, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported.
No cause of death has been established for Bernard, 64, who retired from show business more than two decades ago.
During her General Hospital run from 1984 to 1990, Bernard played Terry Brock, a singer who was framed for murder twice. Bernard also had parts in movies like 1981’s Diva and 1986’s Betty Blue. Her last onscreen credit was the role of a psychologist in a small 2002 production called Voices From the High School.
A Texas preacher’s daughter, she started out as a child singer with her sister Crystal, who would go on to star in the 1990s TV series Wings. Robyn attended Baylor University but dropped out after some wild partying.
“I was bitter about all the pressure that had been put upon me,” she said of her strict religious upbringing in a 1985 interview with Boca Raton News. “So I walked the other side. I have to admit it didn’t do much for my grades. So after a couple semesters I quit and went to Nashville.”
Robyn lived in Music City for three years before driving to Hollywood with the goal of getting on the most popular soap opera. It didn’t take long.
“One of the nice things about doing General Hospital is they let me sing on the show,” she said in a 1986 interview with United Features Syndicate. “And they tied in my background as a gospel singer into the background of my character.”

Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had forbidden this relationship and sent Vaughn away when he found out that Josslyn and Vaughn had defied his orders. Vaughn and Josslyn were not a great romance by any means.
Instead of falling for a new man and planning her future, Josslyn has been throwing herself into her work and putting love on the back burner. Could it be time for a change?
Josslyn Jacks Needs A New Love
There is no one that can replace Dex because he was a very important part of Josslyn’s life. However, Josslyn has room to love again and the writers can make that happen.
Now that Josslyn is older, she needs someone who can deal with her life as an agent and can still give her the love the she wants and needs.
Now that there are some new guys joining the show, perhaps Eden will be screen tested with one as a new prospective partner for Josslyn.
If that is the case, we know he won’t be a WSB agent since that would cause another issue with work. However, Dex started out working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) so perhaps Josslyn needs another bad boy.
New Men Are Needed In Port Charles
Let’s be honest, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) has Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), there are no other younger men in Port Charles.
Is it time to cast some younger guys so that Josslyn has a shot at a loving relationship too?
Josslyn has had a bad boy turned good. She has been with a WSB agent as well. What type of man should Josslyn be with this time? Perhaps a spoiled little rich kid that doesn’t have to work?
