It’s been almost a year since we last saw Sasha and Daisy on General Hospital. In fact, it was in July of 2025 when the character left town with her and Michael’s baby after she was gaslit by a vengeful Willow.
Though Sofia Mattsson’s official Instagram has been a bit quiet as of late, she’s back — and fans can’t get enough of her new look.
The former ABC soap actress posted a photo from inside her car sporting darker gorgeous locks and shared, “Soaking up the L.A. sunshine.”
Not only did many comment on how “beautiful” she looked, fans also expressed wanting to see her back on General Hospital. “You are so missed on GH Sofia.
Sending you love and light,” stated Dean Wallingford II, as Yamile Barrera added, “Miss you… Just as stunning as a brunette than as a blonde.”
For those who missed Mattsson’s goodbye message last year, as rumors of her departure swirled, the actress confirmed, “Yes, it’s true, Sasha Gilmore has left Port Charles! (For now).
General Hospital has become my second home these past years and I am so grateful for my time there.” She also thanked fans for their “love and support” and hoped one day that Sasha would “make her way back to her friends and family.”
Though they hated to see her go, fans wished her the very best of luck, as Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) expressed, “Beyond beautiful, talented and genuine! Love you!”
And we too hope to one day see Sasha and Daisy return but until then…
