‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may accidentally shoot Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) while taking aim at Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Is Supposed to Kill Cullum Before Leaving Town with Britt
Earlier in the week, Jason explained to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he’s leaving town with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and doesn’t know when he’ll be back.
Sonny asks Jason for a favor before he heads to Canada with his lady love: take out Cullum. Jason agreed, and they both decided to pin the murder on Jack.
The weekly GH preview shows that during the week of March 16th to 20th, Jason will be on the roof of a building outside, pointing a gun at the WSB office, where Cullum is seen talking to Brennan.
It looks like Jason is about to take aim, but he may end up hitting the wrong target. Personally, I don’t really want to see Jack die, despite his recruiting Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB.
Yes, he lied to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and went behind her back, and recruited her daughter, but he’s obviously madly in love with Carly.
Brennan put his heart on the line, and for that, I have a soft spot for him. He doesn’t necessarily do what is right, but he does what he thinks he has to do.
He’s a character who’s more in the gray moral area when it comes to right vs. wrong. That said, we doubt Jason would lose any sleep over shooting Jack.
However, Cullum is the real enemy. He tried to kill Sonny last year and plans to finish what he started. Cullum is also responsible for almost killing Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cullum Is the True Enemy
Michael spent months at a German burn clinic after being the unfortunate victim when Cullum set off a firebomb at Sonny’s old penthouse.
Let’s not forget that Brennan helped Carly by using his connections to get Michael into that top-notch clinic so he could make a full recovery. Jack has done a lot of good things for Carly.
We understand that doesn’t excuse what Brennan has done, but it proves he’s not a heartless monster. He definitely doesn’t deserve to be killed.
Cullum is also forcing Britt to work on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project involving cold fusion. The WSB Director and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) have control over Britt’s Huntington’s medication.
They won’t let her have her life-sustaining drugs unless she completes the project. So, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is helping Britt by getting his boyfriend, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), to steal a dose of her medicine.
Jason plans to accompany Britt to Canada so they can have Brick (Stephen A. Smith) make a copy of the drug, so Britt won’t need to depend on Cullum and Sidwell for it.
Before Jason leaves, he’s supposed to kill Cullum. Since Jack will be standing next to him when Jason pulls the trigger, I fear he may accidentally hit Brennan. I suspect after that, Cullum will capture Jason and hold him hostage.
Fans know that Steve Burton is taking a planned hiatus from the soap and won’t return until the summer. So, something is bound to go sideways to keep Jason from Port Charles for so long. Hopefully, Brennan isn’t sacrificed for the sake of the story.
