We highly doubt that the hit that was ordered in the January 27 episode of General Hospital will be successfully executed: No way, no how would the show ever kill off Sonny, who for decades has been a greater focal point than even the hospital.
But the murderous twist may have just written Marco into a corner from which he can’t get back out!
Take Out Sonny? Puh-lease!
We couldn’t believe our ears when Lucas’ boyfriend went so far as to instruct Cullum to eliminate Sonny for the sake of their hush-hush project.
It wasn’t just a bold move — and one of which daddy Sidwell wouldn’t approve — it was perhaps suicidal.
Think about it: How many characters have ever come for Sonny and his loved ones and lived to tell the tale? Ava and Ric may be exceptions to the rule, but the rule was well-established by the late Alcazar, Claudia, Jagger, Julian and more. The odds of survival are suddenly not in Marco’s favor.
Can Sidwell Protect His Son?
When Marco’s hit turns out to be a miss, all hell is sure to break loose. Though Cullum seemed to shrug off the order, Marco is unlikely to give up on trying to put Sonny down — six feet down, to be specific!
Never mind that Marco blames Sonny for the death of his nasty mother, Natalia, the mobster is going to want to retaliate in a big way. Sidwell believes that he can control the don, but can he? Can he really?
After all, Sonny murdered a federal agent in cold blood and never so much as stood trial for it. They don’t call him the Teflon don for nothing!
